This review is my first review so there might be some mistakes. Apple announced that they are releasing the “world’s thinnest laptop". Now I have warn to you that this review is totally honest and is my opinion. So, let’s get on with the review. Not every hardware is perfect and, of course, the AIR is no exception. Now, I am going to tell you the good parts first and then the crappy parts. One good part is that it is, of course, thin. It is light and durable so I can carry it around my backpack with ease. Now, the specs are Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo (1.8 GHz or 1.6 GHz, but I recommend the 1.8 for reasons I will tell you later); RAM installed: 2 GB DDR II SDRAM; Weight: 3 lbs. Now, I just absolutely love the new trackpad feature. Just like an Iphone, you can stretch a page and all that nice stuff. I also like the remote optical drive makes living without a built-in drive, much easier to handle. I am sure there are more good features, but I just got to demo it. Oh, by the way, I like the backlit LED, for working in the dark. Now, the CRAPPY parts. For one, remember the 1.8 and 1.6 GHz thing? I recommended the 1.8 because it is faster, but not that fast. It is slower that the other Macbooks. And the hardrives, NOT ENOUGH. 80 GBs? Do you think that that’s enough? The extra SSD drives are just so expensive. Another complaint is the wireless connection. The connection is very limited and you can’t improve it. The lack of superdrives are just not an excuse. You can still make a thin notebook, with diskdrives. Oh, did I tell you that there are only 1 USB DRIVE? That means you have to go out and buy extra ones!! Although it is extremely cheap, the features for it is lacking and it is slow. So, the end result, I would give it a 6.5 out of 10
